Award-winning digital product studio, ustwo, appointed as digital experience lead for the Cancer Platform

The Cancer Awareness Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of ustwo as the lead, digital experience agency of the Cancer Platform and our newest Founding Partner.

ustwo is an award-winning digital product studio, who were successfully selected following an extensive global tender process. The organisation shared a compelling vision closely aligned to our own, on how we can transform cancer outcomes globally using the latest technology. This, coupled with their values as a B-Corp organisation and majority employee-owned business, made them the perfect fit.

The appointment of ustwo signals the start of a new phase for The Cancer Awareness Trust. We are moving from the development of the vision, model and collaborations, into the creation of our Cancer Platform that will see engagement with users through the design and delivery process. As a Founding Partner, this collaboration represents more than a traditional client-agency relationship. Founding Partners help to shape our platform, backing us with the resources to do so, whilst also working with us as critical friends, connectors and advocates in every aspect. ustwo will bring world-class expertise to the technical development and design of the platform, some of which is funded through our philanthropic backers.

“The appointment of ustwo is a major and exciting milestone for The Cancer Awareness Trust. I am delighted that a world-class team is joining us on this mission, turning the vision into reality, into a platform you can use at every stage of the cancer journey. A new chapter for the charity that starts here.” Professor Sir Chris Evans, Founder.

“It’s not every day you get approached to help on a mission as important and challenging as this. So we’re delighted to be invited by The Cancer Awareness Trust to become a founding partner. We can’t wait to make this platform a reality for people who need it most - giving them access to trusted information at a time when they have so many questions about the future.” Nicki Sprinz, Group Managing Director, ustwo studios.

Currently in its early stages of development, the first UK focused iteration of the Cancer Platform will launch in 2024.
