Suzie Turner Joins as Founding Patron

Cancer Awareness Trust is delighted to welcome Suzie Turner, as our latest Founding Patron.

Suzie is the Founder and Creative Director of Suzie Turner Couture, creators of bespoke designs for women around the world: royalty, celebrities, and bespoke collections for private clients.

At the age of 15 Suzie embarked on her training with a men’s tailor. By 17 she was creating bespoke garments for private clients. 20 years later she had mastered her craft. The fundamental techniques she learned throughout her training are intrinsic to her work today. Suzie Turner gowns have graced the carpets of Buckingham Palace, State dinners, weddings and formal functions around the world.

As someone who has personally experienced the highs and lows of caring for a loved one with cancer, Suzie knows the difference that quick access to the right information and services can make and is committed to helping us build Cancer Platform and in the hands of everyone who needs it, drawing on her international network to bring others to the cause.

Suzie Turner says, “This platform is an incredible initiative that I wish my family and I had had access to. I know the vital importance of ensuring the freedom of knowledge to all those affected by cancer. Through Cancer Platform, the delivery of reliable information in a compassionate way, that isn’t overwhelming, at the most trying time, will be a lifeline for those in need of support.”

Cancer Awareness Trust Founder Professor Sir Chris Evans adds, “Suzie’s incredible enthusiasm and commitment for everything we are doing at Cancer Awareness Trust embodies everything we need in a Founding Patron. I am delighted to welcome her to our team and look forward to working together. We’ll have plenty of fun and, crucially, we’ll transform cancer outcomes for millions of people together!
