EDX Medical Group joins the Cancer Awareness Trust as a Founding Partner
The Cancer Awareness Trust is delighted to announce EDX Medical Group as our latest Founding Partner.
EDX Medical is an exciting new company founded by Professor Sir Chris Evans, who is also a Founder of The Cancer Awareness Trust. As a Founding Partner they are supporting us to develop The Cancer Platform, with expertise in cancer diagnostics and support towards our fundraising goals.
EDX was founded to extend and improve quality of life through smart testing. The company develops innovative products and services for cancer, heart disease neurology and infectious disease testing.
These digitally enabled products and services will set new standards in risk assessment, enable better clinical decision-making, and accelerate the development of new medicines. EDX Medical announced this week (w/c November 21) a collaborative cancer biomarker programme that will improve access to cost-effective and reliable tests for a range of cancers in the UK and Europe. The company has been selected by Tianjin Bioscience Diagnostic Technology Co. Ltd (“Bioscience”), an internationally active research-based manufacturer of diagnostic products and reagents, as its lead partner to validate and commercialise its suite of cancer biomarkers in Europe.
