Amanda Mercer joins as Executive Assistant

2024 sees a number of brilliant people joining the charity and we kick off the New Year with Amanda Mercer, joining us as the Executive Assistant to the MD and Directors. A crucial role in providing essential administrative support to the executive team as we enter our biggest year yet. 

Amanda brings vast experience as a senior Executive Assistant to leaders across the charity sectors, working with executives, board members and management teams, having previously done so at Relate, The Young Foundation and NSPCC. Amanda is also a passionate events volunteer having worked on events including the International Fundraising Congress (IFC), Euro2020, the 2019 Cricket World Cup and various fundraising events. 

On joining, Amanda comments, "I feel pleased and privileged to be joining the Cancer Awareness Trust at such an exciting time, and very much look forward to getting stuck in and supporting the amazing work we have planned for 2024 and beyond."
